I suffer with very bad anxiety and phobias and struggle to go places that are busy with people. I get anxious about the thought of germs and feel more anxious inside in busy places.
We are lucky where we live that we don’t get very extreme weather and are still able to go out to explore.
I find being outside in the fresh air helps my anxiety and provides a good distraction as well as exercise.
My son loves being outside ( not as much as gaming) but he loves to explore. For Christmas he received a metal detector this weekend was spent looking for treasure to his sadness we didn’t find any. We can’t wait to take it to the beach once spring arrives and we head to our holiday lodge.
There’s so great local parks to explore local to us we are very lucky.
Here’s some pictures from our walk
The rest of the weekend has been spent baking banana bread and making soup.
Ready for the week back to work and homeschool activities.
Autumn is my favourite time of year for clothes buying. I love buying children clothes but boys clothing can be quite boring and repetitive and my son loves bright clothing.
Now he’s older and has opinions on what he wants to wear and what’s cool I quite often find my self negotiating on clothes to find items we both like.
Below are some of our favourite pieces this autumn.
Dr martin turtle boot
monsoon boys duffle coat
Zara pants these come in a choice of 5 colours £12.99
Zara corduroy pants (which are so soft) £16.99
zara long cardigan £19.99
Sometimes I don’t know where the time goes. I seem to link and he grows and weeks have gone past I realise I’ve a mountain of photographs to share and not had time to blog.
the past few weeks have been busy we got the keys to our new holiday lodge and have been busy visiting there organising things. We’ve had little days out and enjoyed the sunny weather. Although that has now disappeared here and it is currently throwing it down with rain.
he looks so excited to be having pizza and chips its his most favourite meal and he usually only eats our homemade pizza as he can be quite picky with food.
we’ve also been for his eye test review were now down to yearly check up as he is short sighted he will always need glasses which is great as he loves his ray bans. he made me promise they would be no stingy drops but no he’s old luckily we don’t need them. I managed to get a sneaky picture. I’ll be in trouble when he sees this.
